Blind Pirate Soap Co. is small-batch by conviction, not by limitation. Every bar is built from certified grass-fed tallow, organic coconut and castor oils, and pure botanical essential oils — never synthetic fragrance, not once — and cured a minimum of eight weeks before it earns a label. It lathers exceptionally, the way a soap raised by sailors ought to.
Those labels are Brailed by hand by our co-founder Dolton, who has been blind since birth and was raised nine years aboard a sailboat in Charleston Harbor. The raised Braille isn't decoration — it's necessity made beautiful. If a bar can't be read by touch, it isn't finished. That's the standard the whole company is built on, and it's why we're committed to hiring from the blind community as we grow.
