Meet Dolton. He has been completely blind since birth and he Brailles every single label at Blind Pirate Soap Co. by hand. Every one. Not as a gesture. Not as a feature. Because if you cannot read it independently, it isn't finished.

In this video you will watch Dolton work through a full sheet of Windward soap labels on his Brailler — his long fingers moving across the keys with precision, his pinky anchored to the side of the machine as his guide. When the sheet is finished he pulls it free and hands it over. Every label perfect. Every one done by hand.

Blind Pirate Soap Co. is a small batch, blind operated soap company founded by Dolton and his mother in rural South Carolina. Every bar is handcrafted from certified grass-fed tallow and certified USDA organic ingredients. Every label carries Braille pressed by Dolton's hands.

We didn't build accessibility into this company. We built the company from it.
