Dolton — our co-founder, who has been completely blind since the NICU — has sensitive skin that has informed every product decision we make. We didn't formulate this bar for a market segment. We named this bar Syrena — after the sailboat where our co-founder Dolton spent the first nine years of his life. A mooring in Charleston Harbor. Dolphins in the shade. Seagulls every morning. A boy who couldn't see the water but knew exactly where he was by the sound and the salt and the feel of the deck beneath him.
